How do I create an account on TrackaTail?
You can create an account by tapping the Sign Up button on the welcome screen, entering your email and password, and submitting the form. If email verification is required, follow the instructions sent to your inbox.
What if I forget my password?
On the login screen, tap 'Forgot Password', enter your registered email, and follow the password reset link sent to your inbox.
How do I add my pet to the app?
Go to the Pet Diary section and tap "Add Profile". You will be guided through steps to choose your pet type, upload an avatar, enter basic details like name, birthdate, breed, and weight.
Can I edit my pet's profile later?
Yes! Just tap on your pet's profile in the Pet Diary and select Edit. You can update details like name, gender, birthdate, weight, and even the pet gallery.
How does pet weight tracking work?
Track your pet's weight by adding weight entries in the Weight section. The app shows a visual chart with monthly and yearly trends, helping you monitor your pet's growth or health changes over time.
How do I manage daily pet tasks like feeding or grooming?
Go to the Tasks section and tap "Create Task". Add the task name, details, a checklist (like steps), schedule time, and optional reminders. You can also assign the task to a specific pet.
Will I get reminders for pet tasks?
Yes. You can customize reminders before a task begins. Make sure to enable Notification Permissions in your device and app settings to receive alerts.
Can I connect with other pet lovers?
Absolutely! Tap the Community tab to see posts from other pet owners, share photos, like, comment, or even write your own post.
How do I find pet services near me?
In the Services section, you can search for nearby vets, groomers, or pet stores by enabling your location. You can also bookmark services or create and list your own pet-related organization.
Can I promote my pet business or service?
Yes. Under *My Organizations*, you can create your own listing by entering your business name, category, contact info, and location.
Is my data secure?
TrackaTail takes data privacy seriously. All profiles, photos, and pet details are securely stored and only visible to you unless shared in the community section.
Will my pet data be saved if I close or reinstall the app?
Yes. As long as you're logged into your account, your data (pet profiles, weight logs, tasks, etc.) will be securely stored and synced when you log in again.
